The report was prepared by Messner <br />Engineering Associates, of Loveland, Colorado, for Orr Land Company. This report is an <br />attempt to detennine the reaches of the floodplain for the described area. The report utilizes <br />previous flood studies and hydrologic reports of areas upstream and downstream, from the <br />described area, completed in 1974 & 1988 by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers [Ref 1], in 1990 <br />by Creative Engineering for the Colorado Highway Department [Ref 2J and in 1991 by the <br />Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) [Ref 3J. Other flood study reports for <br />surrounding areas were also reviewed for content. <br /> <br />1 <br />
