Rep support kits are <br />exchanged at 4 year intervals. Faulty instruments detected in the <br />field are exchanged when presented at the M&C shop. As the two <br />plants are in reasonable proximity to the M&C shop, and agencies <br />utilizing the civil defense instrumentation have ready access to <br />replacement instrlilnentation when a failure occurs, the 4 year <br />recalibration cycle appears to be satisfactory. See attachment 2 <br />for a breakout by county, set type and number. See attachment 2a <br />for area map broken out by counties. <br /> <br />5. Specific pro~ram ~oals for FFY 1990 <br /> <br />a. Complete RI/M&C field visits to the counties shown in attachment I, <br />Cycle A. <br /> <br />.b. Complete the exchange of the radiological detection sets identified <br />in attachment I, Cycle A. <br /> <br />c. Repair 110 radiological instruments expected defective at set <br />exchanges. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />d. Calibrate all CDV-700, CDV-715, and CDV-717 instruments issued, <br /> <br />e. Op-check all instruments not calibrated prior to issue. <br /> <br />f. Calibrate all Bendix dosimeters issued. <br /> <br />g, Remove Landerk dosimeters from issued sets and hold for recall. <br /> <br />h. Maintain and comply with Agreement State license numbers CDB 25- <br />(10981)01 and 02. <br /> <br />i. Provide for semi-armual physical inspection, inventory and leak <br />testing of a radioactive materials on loan from FEMA to Colorado. <br /> <br />j. f~intain a current inventory of total RADEF monitoring instruments <br />in the state. <br /> <br />k. Supply current instrumentation and RM training data for the RADEF <br />Data Bank Radioactive Materials Inventory. <br /> <br />1. Support scheduled RO and RRT courses with <br />instructors. <br /> <br />instruments <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />;;: <br /> <br />m. Support RM classes with instruments, administrative materials and <br />guidance. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />n.
