<br />FAMILY TOURS <br /> <br />"HISTORIC FREDRICKSBURG AND THE <br />TEXAS HILL COUNTRY" <br />TUESDAY, JUNE 20, 2000 <br />10:00 AM - 4:00 PM <br /> <br />You will board your bus at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at 10:00 am and travel deep into the <br />heart of the beautiful Texas Hill Country, You'll travel through LBJ Country, see <br />President Lyndon B. Johnson's boyhood home in Johnson City and cruise through LBJ <br />State Park. Here you can view the Texas White House on the banks of the Pedemales <br />River and the final resting place of a great ex-president. You will see why LBJ called <br />this area "God's Country", Continuing west, you will reach the old German town of <br />Fredericksburg. Now widely known as a shopping mecca, this quaint town offers many <br />unique shops and fine dining opportunities, <br /> <br />You will lunch on your own with menu opportunities ranging from hamburgers to <br />authentic German food, The men of the group may enjoy tasting some local "brews" at <br />the Fredericksburg Brew Pub and the Admiral Nimitz Historical Park offers a unique <br />"War of the Pacific" museum with incredible displays and memorials, and even a midget <br />submarine used by the Japanese. The ladies of the group will enjoy the many fine shops <br />offering antiques, hand made crafts and other great gift items. There is something for <br />everyone in OI'Fredericksburg! <br /> <br />After about two well spent hours in Fredericksburg, you will reboard the bus and begin <br />the return trip. We'll make one stop near Stonewall where you can browse through one of <br />the largest Wildflower Seed Farms in the country. Johnson's Presidential Library await your viewing, You'll get a glimpse of the <br />
