<br />WHEREAS, Sections 31-23-301 and 30-28-111, Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, provide that such legislative bodies of local juris- <br />dictions may provide zoning regulations for land uses on or <br />along any storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after <br />des igna t ion and a'pproval by the Colorado Wa ter Consecva t ion <br />Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, <br />directs the Colorado Water Conservation Board to designate and <br />approve storm or floodwater runoff, channels or basins and to <br />make such designations available to legislative bodies of local <br />jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has,reviewed said report and <br />does hereby recommend to the Colorado Water Conservat ion Board <br />that the Board designate and approve as floodplain areas those <br />areas inundated by a lOO-year flood (intermediate regional flood) <br />as described by the floodwater surface elevations, and profi les <br />in said report; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver,' <br />Colorado, this 23rd day of January, 19B7, that it does' hereby <br />designate and approve as floodplain areas those areas described <br />as being inundated by a iOO-year flood as described by the <br />floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said report; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is <br />directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the Town <br />of Parker, the Board of County Commissioners.. of, Dou~ Coun.ty, <br />and the Federal Emergency Management Agency; <br /> <br />Q ~ R TIE 1 QaT ~ <br /> <br />,.Ju9E!rtifythat, ,t,~e foregoing is a true and correct copy of a <br />resolution adopted by a majority vote of the members of the <br />'-CoIoracro-water conservation Board ln regular session assembled <br />at Denver, Colorado, on the 23rd day of January, 19B7, at which <br />a quorum was present. <br /> <br /> <br />.1d~~~Q_ <br /> <br />William McDonald, Secretary <br />
