<br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1) (c), Colorado Revised Statutes, <br />directs the Colorado Water Conservation Roard to designate and <br />approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins and to make <br />such designations available to legislative bodies of local <br />jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said revised <br />information and data and does hereby recommend to the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board that the Board designate and approve as <br />floodplain areas those areas inundated by a 100-year flood <br />(intermediate reg ional flood) as described by the floodwater <br />surface elevations and profiles in said new reoort, and further <br />recommends that the flood water surface elevations and profiles <br />from Sand Creek to Oxford Avenue, as aporoved by Resolution <br />No.1, adopted December 13, 1967, and Resolution No. 84, adopted <br />November 15,1977, be rescinded; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conser- <br />vation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, <br />this 14th day of March, 1986, that it does hereby designate and <br />approve as floodplain areas those areas described as being <br />inundated by a 100-year flood as descr,ibed by the floodwater <br />surface elevations and profiles in said new report, dated <br />September, 1985, and does her-eby rescind tha~ said portion of <br />Resolution No.1, dated December 13, 1967, and Resolution No. 84, <br />dated November 15, 1977; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the <br />directed to send a certified copy of this resolution <br />City and County of Denver, the Urban Drainage and Flood <br />District, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. <br /> <br />Roard is <br />to the <br />Control <br /> <br />C E R T l F I CAT E <br /> <br />I certi fy that the foregoing is a true and correct copy <br />of a resolution adopted by a maJority vote of the members of <br />the Colorado Water Conservation Roard in reqular session <br />assembled at Denver, Colorado, on the 14th day of March, 1986, at <br />which a quorum ~as present. <br /> <br /> <br />Sec ret a r y <br />
