<br />" <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />f) Technical Addendum: A technical addendum will be provided <br />containing all procedures, methods and calculations used to determine <br />the 100 year floodplain information given in the report. <br />g) Publication of Report: After review and approval of the draft <br />report, fifteen copies of the floodplain information study shall be bound <br />for publishing, including all maps and charts and data necessary in the <br />compilation of the report. <br /> <br />ITEM 5: Additional Services not considered customary basic services: <br />a) Additional services resulting from significant changes in <br />the general scope of the project or its design. <br />b) Services in connection with change orders to reflect changes <br />requested by CLIENTS. <br />c) Preparing to serve or serving as a witness for CLIENTS in any <br />litigation or other proceeding involving the project. <br />d) Land surveys required to locate property boundaries are specif- <br />ically not included under ITEM 4. <br />e) Obtaining supporting documents such as aerial photography and <br />subsurface investigation. <br />f) If additional compensation would be due the ENGINEER to perform <br />the services outlined in a thru e above, agreements will be made with CLIENTS <br />for compensation for additional services prior to ENGINEER commencing any <br />work. <br /> <br /> <br />ITEM 6: For the services outlined in ITEM 4 of this proposal, the CLIENTS <br />agree to pay ENGINEER a total lump sum fee as follows: <br />Three thousand four hundred dollars ($3,400.00)*. <br />Said fee shall be due and payable in accordance with the following <br />schedule: <br />1. The ENGINEER shall bill CLIENTS on a monthly basis for the services <br />performed. Payment shall be due by the 10th of the month following the <br />month the work was accomplished. The total of said monthly payments shall <br />not exceed ninety percent (90%) of the total lump sum fee until submission <br />of the final report and Technical Addendum. <br />2. The balance of the total fee shall be due and payable upon the <br />completion of all services shown in ITEM 4 of this agreement. <br />*3. The total cost for engineering services outlined in ITEM 4, is <br />$7,500.00. Of this amount the CITY has agreed to pay $2750.00, and the <br />COUNTY has agreed to pay $1350.00, with the balance of $3400.00 agreed to <br />
