<br />On November 15, 1993, the results of this restudy were reviewed <br />at a final CCO meeting attended by representatives of the Town of <br />Frisco, Summit County, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, <br />FEMA, and the study contractor. <br /> <br />Streams studied by detailed methods and their limits of study are <br />listed below: <br /> <br />Streams <br /> <br />Meadow Creek <br /> <br />Miners Creek <br /> <br />Tenmile Creek <br /> <br />Jug Creek <br /> <br />No Name Creek <br /> <br />Descriotion <br /> <br />In the northern portion of the Town <br />of Frisco, from Dillon Reservoir <br />upstream to the eastern corporate <br />limits, and from Highway 9 upstream <br />to Interstate 70. (A portion of this <br />stream reach lies within the Town of <br />Frisco.) <br /> <br />From Dillon Reservoir to the <br />Breckenridge/Vail bike trail. (A <br />portion of this stream reach lies <br />within Summit County.) <br /> <br />From Dillon Reservoir to 4th Avenue <br />and from just upstream to <br />approximately 0.2 mile upstream of <br />Main Street. (A portion of this reach <br />lies within Summit County.) <br /> <br />From the confluence with Miners Creek to <br />approximately 2,100 feet upstream. (A <br />portion of this reach lies within <br />Summit County.) <br /> <br />From the confluence with Jug Creek to <br />approximately 2,000 feet upstream. (A <br />portion of this reach lies within <br />Summit County.) <br /> <br />Total Length <br />(miles) <br /> <br />1.3 <br /> <br />0.9 <br /> <br />0.7 <br /> <br />0.4 <br /> <br />0.4 <br /> <br />The Tenmile Creek Basin drains to the north, then northeast into <br />Lake Dillon from the Fremont Pass vicinity. This basin parallels <br />the Upper Blue River basin with the Tenmile Range dividing the <br />two. The western boundary of the basin is formed by the Gore <br />Range and Vail Pass, and the southern boundary is the Continental <br />Divide. The upper basin is characterized by an open rolling <br />terrain. In contrast, the lower basin consists of the narrow <br />winding Tenmile Canyon. The total drainage area is 94 square <br />miles at Frisco, with 35 square miles lying in the upper basin <br />above the confluence with West Tenmile Creek. The basin width is <br />7 miles and the total basin length is about l4 miles. The creek <br /> <br />17 <br />
