This technical memorandum has been prepared to document the hy-

drologic studies prepared for Niver Creek and Northfield Creek in
Adams County for the Federal Insurance Administration. To complete

~

this study it was necessary to break up each creek into subbasins.

These subbasins are shown on Figure 1. Based on field studies and

planning information supplied by Adams County and the City of Thornton,

The needed rainfall, runoff data and other basin parameters used

in this study are given in Tables 2 and 3. Table 2 shows the subbasin

data developed for each subbasin in Northfield Creek and Niver Creek.

Table 3 shows the two hour storm precipitation that was used for

Niver Creek and Northfield Creek. This rainfall information was taken

from the Rainfall/Runoff Information Report published by the Urban
