Suitable Fill - 'Fill material which is stable, compacted, weil graded, per-
vious, generaily unaffected by water and frost, devoid of trash or similar
foreign matter, devoid of tree stumps or other organic material and fit to
support the intended use or permanent structure.
Variance - Means a grant of relief from the requirements of the flood-
plain ordinance which permits construction in a manner that would
otherwise be prohibited by the ordinance.

Recently, the zone classifications on Flood Insurance Rate Maps
(FIRM's) have been changed. Summarized below are the new zones that
