Bin C <br />Ouray, Colorado 81427 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Williams: <br /> <br />This follows up on a re,cent telephone conversation between Bill Judkins of <br />my staff and Patrick O'Donnell, Special Assistant to the Board of County Commis- <br />sioners, regarding the Flood Insurance Study (FIS) for Ouray County, Colorado. <br />In accordance with your community's May 12, 1983, letter, Ouray County will <br />be converted into the F:egular Phase of the National Flood Insurance Program <br />based on a study dated April 1978 prepared by A&S Consultants, Inc., and entitled <br />Flood Plain Information Report for Uncompahgre River, Ouray to Dallas Cr~ek. <br /> <br />Mr. O'Donnell asked the Federal Emergency Management Agency to send a written <br />request for 18 work maps covering Dallas and Pleasant Valley Creeks, to be <br />provided at no charge.
