PRO STATEMENTS:

o Current 1984 COBG program is 90% complete. Applicant conducts program in most
timely manner. Has applied for and received ~ivision of Housing funds to
stretch COBG dollars and rehab more units.

o Applicant has generally provided housing assistance to very low-income (under .
$7,000 annual) persons living in seriously substandard units.

o Project management staff have obtained monies from and are responsible for
several other community development and social services programs. The
COBG-funded program is meeting a great need in an overall efficient and capable
way, but would be better served by hiring an experienced rehab specialist since
staff is stretched thin with other responsibilities.
