PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

.

The project will upgrade and renovate the Town of Naturita's existing raw water
system and protect the system from potential flood damage by the San Miguel River.
CDBG funds will be used to:
1. Enlarge and reinforce the diversion dam;
2. Make improvements to the intake system;
3. Protect: the river bank, along which lies the water transmission line, at areas
subject to wash out;
4. Stabilize the upstream channel;
5. Upgrade the access road, and
6. Repair the pipeline.
