<br />along any storm or floodwater <br />designation and approval by <br />Board; and <br /> <br />~unoff channel or basin only after <br />the Colorado Water Conservation <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, <br />directs the Colorado Water Conservation Board to designate and <br />approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins and to make <br />such designations available to legislative bodies of local <br />jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said revised <br />information and data and does hereby recommend to the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board that the Board designate and approve as <br />floodplain areas those areas inundated by a 100-year flood <br />(intermediate regional flood) as described by the floodwater <br />surface elevations and profile~ in said new report, and further <br />recommends that the floodwatet' surface elevations and prOfiles <br />for Clear Creek, Tuckers Gulch, and Kenneys Run within the <br />corporate limits of the City of Golden, Jefferson County, <br />Colorado, as approved by Reso1.ution Nos. 155, and 217, adopted <br />January 30, 1980, and July 7, 1983, respectively, not be <br />rescinded; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of thE! Board finds that the hydrologic <br />and hydraulic data in the repOrts dated November, 1979; January, <br />1983: and November 15, 1984 tc, be identical, and the community <br />may use any of them for the administration of its floodplain <br />management programs; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conser- <br />vation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, <br />this 15th day of November, 19~4, that it does hereby designate <br />and approve as floodplain are<is those areas described as being <br />inundated by a 100-year flood. as described by the floodwater <br />surface elevations and profiles in said new report, dated <br />November 15, 1984; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED. that the Secretary of the Board is <br />directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the City <br />of Golden; the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson <br />County;. the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District; and the <br />Federal Emergency Management Agency. <br /> <br />C E R T I F I CAT E <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a <br />resolution adopted by a majority vote of the members of the <br />Colorado Water Conservation BOard in regular session assembled at <br />Denver, Colorado, on the 15th day of November ,1984, at which a <br />quorum was present. <br /> <br />
