<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />except that portion downstream of Lowell <br />Boulevard <br />Gay Reservoir (Tom Frost Reservoir) Channel <br />North Tributary <br />Nissen Reservoir Channel except that <br />portion from Sheridan Boulevard <br />Nissen Reservoir Channel North Tributary <br />West Lake Channel <br />West Lake Channel North Tributary <br />upstream to East 10th Avenue <br />Windmill Basin <br />Airport Creek <br />Big Dry Creek <br />North Branch Airport Creek <br />Gay Reservoir (Tom Frost Reservoir <br />Channel from Zuni Street upstream to <br />Lowell Boulevard <br />Brandywine Creek <br /> <br />(FPR #144) <br /> <br />(FPR #144) <br />(FPR #144) <br /> <br />(FPR #144) <br />(FPR #144) <br />(FPR #144) <br /> <br />(FPR #144) <br />(FPR #270) <br />(FPR #270) <br />(FPR #270) <br /> <br />(FPR #92-314) <br />(FPR #92-314); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Broomfield, Colorado has requested the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board to designate and approve the floodplains set forth in the aforesaid new <br />report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, requires the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board to assist in the prevention of floods and flood damages <br />therefrom; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sections 31-23-301 and :30-28-111, Colorado Revised Statutes, provide <br />that legislative bodies of local jurisdictions Il1ay provide zoning regulations for land uses on <br />or along any storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after designation and <br />approval by the Colorado Water Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, directs the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board to designate and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels <br />or basins and to make such designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the information in said new report relating to the reach of Nissen <br />Reservoir Channel from a point just below Midway Boulevard upstream to East 10th <br />Avenue meets all of the requirements for detailed floodplain information listed under the <br />Board's "Rules and Regulations for the Designation and Approval of Floodplains and of <br />Storm or Floodwater Runoff Channels in Colorado" (2 CCR 408-1); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the information in said new report relating to the reach of Nissen <br /> <br />3 <br />
