<br />WHEREAS, Muller Engineering Company, under contract to the Urban Drainage and Flood '.
<br />Control District and the City of Boulder, completed a floodplain information report entitled "Boulder ...
<br />Creek Flood Hazard Area Delineation" in Janu~ry 1983; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for the reach of Boulder Creek
<br />upstream of Valley View Road only and for the Arapahoe Avenue Overflow of Boulder" Creek; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the Urban Drainage and
<br />Flood Control District and the City of Boulder, by Resolution No. 215, adopted on May 5, 1983,
<br />approved and designated the floodplains described in said report and rescinded that portion of Resolution
<br />No. III relating to Boulder Creek only; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Greenhorne & 0' Mara, Inc" under contract to the Urban Drainage and Flood
<br />Control District and Boulder County, completed a floodplain information report entitled "South Boulder
<br />Creek Flood Hazard Area Delineation" in July 1986; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for the reaches of South
<br />Boulder Creek and the Dry Creek No.2 Ditch Split Flow upstream of the C. & S. Railroad only and
<br />for the Highway 93 Split Flow of South Boulder Creek; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the Urban Drainage and
<br />Flood Control District and Boulder County, by Resolution No. 265, adopted on November 18, 1986,
<br />approved and designated the floodplains described in said report and rescinded Resolution No. 33; and . tit
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water ConserVation Board did not by Resolution No. 265 rescind that
<br />portion of Resolution No. I I I relating to South Boulder Creek; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Greenhorne & O'Mara, Inc., under contract to the Urban Drainage and Flood
<br />Control District, Boulder County and the City of Boulder, completed a floodplain information report
<br />entitled "Flood Hazard Area Delineation, Boulder and Adjacent County Drainageways" in May 1987;
<br />and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for Bear Canyon Creek,
<br />Bluebell Canyon Creek, Eimers Twomile Creek, Fourmile Canyon Creek, Goose Creek, Gregory Creek,
<br />Kings Gulch, North Goose Creek (shown as pm of Goose Creek), Skunk: Creek, Sunshine Canyon
<br />Creek (also known as Sunshine Gulch), Sunsl1ine Canyon Tributary, Twomile Canyon Creek and
<br />Wonderland Creek; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water ConserVation Board, as requested by the Urban Drainage and
<br />Flood Control District, Boulder County and the City of Boulder, by Resolution No. 281, adopted on
<br />October I, 1987, approved and designated the floodplains described in said report; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Love & Associates, Inc., at the request of the University of Colorado at Boulder,
<br />completed floodplain information reports entitled "Request for Letter of Map Revision, Bear Canyon
