<br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the Denver Regional <br />Council of Governments, by Resolution No.8, adopted on April I, 1970, approved and designated the <br />floodplains described by the floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, R.W. Beck, under contract to the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District, <br />completed a floodplain information report entitled "Major Drainageway Planning, South Boulder Creek, <br />Volumes I and II, City of Boulder and Boulder County, Colorado" dated December 1973; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for the reach of South Boulder <br />Creek upstream of the C. & S. Railroad only; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the Urban Drainage and <br />Flood Control District, by Resolution No. 33, adopted on June 21, 1974, approved and designated the <br />floodplains described by the floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said report and rescinded that <br />portion of Resolution No. 8 relating to South Boulder Creek only; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Insurance Administration completed a floodplain information report <br />entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City of Boulder, Colorado, Boulder County" dated January 1978; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for Boulder Creek and South <br />Boulder Creek and approximate floodplain information for Wonderland Creek, Twomile Creek, Goose <br />Creek, Gregory Creek, Bluebell Canyon Creek, Kings Gulch, Skunk Creek and Bear Canyon Creek; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the City of Boulder, by <br />Resolution No. 111, adopted on July 11, 1978, approved and designated the floodplains described by <br />the floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said report for Boulder Creek and South Boulder Creek <br />only and rescinded that portion of Resolution No.8 relating to the reach of Boulder Creek upstream of <br />Valley View Road only; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board did not by Resolution No. 111 designate <br />and approve any of the approximate floodplain information contained in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, under contract to Boulder <br />County, Weld County and the Colorado Water Conservation Board, completed a floodplain information <br />report entitled "Flood Plain Information, Dry Creek, Boulder County-Weld County, Colorado" in June <br />1978; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for Dry Creek, also known as <br />Dry Creek No.2; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Boulder County, by <br />Resolution No. 124, adopted on November 1, 1978, approved and designated the floodplains described <br />in said report; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />3 <br />
