The City <br />requests the revised flood hazard area be as depicted in the Flood Plain Management Study for <br />Cripple Creek prepared by the SCS in 1992, with certain modifications to be defined after <br />consultation with your office. The also requests that the Board consider the rescission of flood <br />hazard area within the incorporated portions of Cripple Creek, as on the Flood Insurance Study <br />for Teller County and Incorporated Areas. <br /> <br />The Flood Plain Management Study contains detailed floodplain information for the following <br />streams: <br /> <br />Cripple Creek, East Branch Cripple Creek, West Branch Cripple Creek; <br />UlUla.lned West Barl,1.:: Tributary to Cripple Creek; <br />Main Street Tributary to Cripple Creek; <br />Poverty Gulch, South Branch Poverty Gulch; <br />2nd Street Tributary to Cripple Creek, Courthouse Tributary to 2nd Street Tributary, <br />May A venue Tributary to 2nd Street Tributary; <br />Thurlow Avenue Tributary to Cripple Creek; <br />Pony Gulch, West Branch Pony Gulch; <br />Unnamed WestBank Tributary to Pony Gulch. <br /> <br />The Flood Insurance Study contains approximate floodplain information for Cripple Creek, <br />Poverty Gulch and Pony Gulch within the city limits of Cripple Creek. The City of Cripple <br />Creek believes that the approximate information contained in the Flood Insurance Study is <br />inconsistent with the detailed information contained in the Flood Plain Management Study and is <br />
