Colorado," c'ated 1975, has been taken in the wrong context.
I suggested a review be made for physical changes for a one-mile
reach on the Blue River upstream of Watson Road. I have been re-
ceiving reports from interested parties that your firm stated that
I recommended that the study should be recinded.

The Town of Breckenridge and the Board have a large in-
vestment in the subject study; and, to this date, we have been happy
to provide you and the FIA with our technical backup and study finds
at no cost. Our stcudy contractor, Leonard Rice Consulting Water
Engineers, Inc., has informed me that they too have provided you
with technical service at no cost.

I interpret from your December 22, 1977, letter proposal
that for Breckenridge you are proposing a re-drafting study of the
existing information to the FIA format. However, from the last para-
graph, it is implied that the town is expecting a new study with the
resulting report. The floodplain report for Breckenridge was approved
and designated by Board resolution on January14, 1976; therefore, any
substantial change in the 100-year flood hazard values will require
Board action as stated in the zoning statutes.

{,

Upon completion of your study, we are requesting that all
Board study materials and information be returned with proper

~
