She will also provide the drainage studies
for the Ken Caryl, the Deer Creek Golf Club and the Meadows Sanctuary, She will also
provide a current aerial photograph.

7. The State Engineer approved the plans for the South Platte Reservoir project in June
2003, The plans include a channel designed to convey the probable maximum flood,
downstream of South Platte Canyon Road. These channel improvements will be
incorporated into the Massey Draw update. Tetra Tech I RMC prepared the construction
plans, and can be contacted to obtain a set of the final plans (Don Deere, 303/772-
5282),

MEETING MINUTES

Massey Draw and SJCD (South) Update
OA Project No. 02-2003-1321
January 7,2004

Attendees:

Ben Urbonas - Urban Drainage and Flood Control District
Paula Lundquist - Jefferson County
Alecia Cope. - Jefferson County
Bob Deeds - City of Littleton
Bruce Buttner - Olsson Associates
David Krickbaum - Olsson Associates
Dana Carter - Olsson Associates

8. Bob Deeds provided plans for the existing SJCD North Tributary improvements,
downstream of South Platte Canyon Road, A portion of the tributary, upstream of South
Platte Canyon Road, is in Arapahoe County. Dave Mallory (UDFCD) or Steve Gardner
(Arapahoe County) should be able to provide information for those improvements,

9. A list of possible project participants was reviewed, Ben Urbonas will send letters to the
people and/or agencies determined to have an interest inviting them to the next meeting.

10. David noted that the structure inventory does not include structures 23 through 45. Ben
will check to see if it has been done.

Discussion Items:

1. Urban Drainage and Flood Control District (UDFCD) has rainfall data and peak flow
estimates for the storm that occurred in August 1999, The accuracy of the rainfall data
is unknown. When the models for Massey Draw are complete, UDFCD will run the
models with the datasets to compare the results against the estimates. UDFCD also has
photos from August 1999 that can be inserted into the report to provide a history of
flooding,

11. Ben requested that the schedule be reviewed and that future meetings be scheduled
base on speCific tasks.

12. The next meeting was scheduled for January 28, 2004, 9:00 at Olsson Associates'
office.

cc: Attendees via e-mail

2. The Chatfield Water Quality grant application agreements have been executed with the
State and the District. They are moving ahead with the final design. Dave Lloyd can
provide further information about the project. The final design of the Chatfield Water
Quality project will be incorporated into the master plan.

3. The project notice to proceed date is December 29, 2003. A Flood Hazard Area
Delineation Report has been added to the scope with Addendum NO.1. Olsson
Associates (OA) signed the Addendum and returned it to UDFCD. Ben Urbonas will
check on the status of the Addendum,

4. The project schedule was distributed and includes the FHAD. A watershed tour is
shown on the schedule, but the date will be finalized later.

5, OA has begun work on the watershed delineations. The USGS digital elevation models
are being used for the delineation and will be field verified so that flow pattern changes
caused by development can be accounted for. The delineation will be reviewed with
UDFCD when finished.
