The mapping was not available in final form as the city <br />was reviewing the prints while the work on this report was being com- <br />pleted. <br /> <br />Due to the flat terrain in and around Alamosa, additional survey data <br />should be obtained during the final design of any storm sewer facili- <br />ties. Field surveys should be required to detail curb and gutters, <br />street cross slopes, sump locations, specific driveway details, etc. <br /> <br />Because of lack of mapping tools for analyzing the problems inherent <br />in the study area, a major portion of the results are based on first- <br />hand field inspection of the study area. Results and recommendations. <br />are based on on-site visits to the problem sites. While field in- <br />vestigations were being conducted, many interviews with local citizens <br />were completed, supporting the field data gathered. <br /> <br />-7- <br />
