WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes,
directs the Colorado Water COIlservation Board to designate and
approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins and to
make such designations available to legislative bodies of local I.
jurisdictions; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT gESOLVED by the Colorado Water
Conservation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver,
Colorado, this 11th day of May, 1989, that it does hereby
designate. and approve the loo-year floodplaiil as described by
the floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said new
report, dated August, 1988, for the stated study reach for St.
Vrain Creek and does hereby rescind that said portion of
Resolution No. 24, dated July ll, 1973; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is
directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the
Board of County Commissioners of Boulder County; the ci ty of
Longmont, Colorado; the Urban Drainage and Flood Control
Dis tr ict; t:he \,;0 loraao 1>1 V1S 1011 of Dlsaster Emergency Services;
and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
