A field review of the design shall be held with MEC and ENTlTIES prior to submittal of the plans and specifications to ENTITIES. MEC shall prepare a Technical Appendix of the design calculations, including hydrologic data, !lydraulic calculations, design criteria, structural data and calculations, and other pertinent and appropriate design information, calculations, and criteria used and/or developed during the course of the design, for submittal to FEMA, CDE and eWCB by ENTlTIES. T: 'ee copies of the Technical Appendix will be prepared, upon the completion of the project. As directed by ENTITIES, MEC will coordinate the design with CWCB, FEMA and the CDE, however MEC is not ,esponsible for delays. changes in criteria or requests for re-evaluation that may result from any outside agency review. MEC shall submit no more than five copies of plans, drawings, specifications and cost estimates, etc. to ENTITIES for review and approval. Also, M~C will submit a review cooy of the construction documents each to the CWCR, CDE (AlbuQue,'que) and CDE (Pueblo). Upon completion of review and after revisions have been made, MEC shall submit to ENTITIES, five copies of the final plans and speci- fications, for reference and distrioution to other agencie$. As the number of bid packages required is not known at tnis tinie, the printing of documents for bidding is oot a part of Basic Services, but will be completed as an Additional Service, as defined Paragraph six (6). R. MEC shall provide the following services during the Bidding Phase N. o. P. D. Of the project: 1) If requested, consult with EI:TITIES regarding advertising for and obtaining bids for the ~rime oontract for construction, materia1s, equi~ment and services. 2) Issue addenda as appropriate to interpret, clarify or expand the Bidding Documents. 31 If requested, consult with and provide an opinion to ENTITIES as to the acceptability of subcontractors, suppliers and other persons and organizations proposerl by the prime contractor for those portions of the werk as to "hich such acceptability is required by the Bidding Documents. 4) Consult with ENTITIES concerning and to determine the acceptability of substitute materials and equipment proposed by Contractor when substitution prior to the award of contracts is allo~led by the Bidding Documents.
