<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1 )( c), Colorado Revised Statues, directs the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board to designate and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels <br />or basins and to make such designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the detailed floodplain information in said new report !IS described <br />herein relating to those reaches of Van Bibber Creek, Ralston Creek and Leyden Creek <br />meets all of the requirements for detailed floodplain information listed under the Board's <br />"Rules and Regulations for the Designation and Approval of Floodplains and of Storm or <br />Floodwater Runoff Channels in Colorado" (2 CCR 408-1). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, this 5th day of March, 1992, that <br />it does hereby designate and approve the lOO-year floodplain as described by the floodwater <br />surface elevations and profiles in said new report, dated February 19, 1992, for those study <br />reaches of Van Bibber Creek, Ralston Creek, and Leyden Creek that are within the <br />corporate limits of the City of Arvada, Colorado, as of March 5, 1992, and specifically for <br />the reach of Van Bibber Creek from its coufIuence upstream to Ward Road, for the reach <br />of Ralston Creek from 56th Avenue upstream to Arvada Reservoir, and for the reach of <br />Leyden Creek from its confluence upstream to Leyden Reservoir, and does hereby rescind <br />that portion of Resolution No. 72, dated July 27, 1977, regarding the reach of Van Bibber <br />Creek from its confluence upstream to Ward Road, as presented in the March 1977, report <br />and Resolution No. 92, dated January 19, 1978, regarding the reach of Ralston Creek from <br />56th Avenue upstream to Arvada Reservoir and the reach of Leyden Creek from its <br />confluence upstream to Leyden reservoir, as presented in the August 1977, report; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTIffiR RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is directed to send <br />a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson <br />County; the City of Arvada, Colorado; the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District; the <br />Colorado Office of Emergency Management; and the Federal Emergency Management <br />Agency. <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by a <br />majority vote of the members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session <br />assembled at Denver, Colorado, on the 5tb day of March, 1992, at which a quorum was <br />present. <br /> <br />~rn'tA- -PtJ;HCW1A <br />Sara Duncan, Secretary <br /> <br />g10204.319 <br /> <br />3 <br />
