Put the alarm back in or uncove.r it. Put a fully- <br />char<;ec1 battery back in. <br />2. Do all sezniannual maintenance described in Part 6.3. <br />3. Ma.ke sure that the float cables zlt-e still attached to <br />the nlJat rod by the electrical tcape. <br />4. MAKE SURE THE ALARM IS ARMED! <br /> <br />6.6 After A Floc)d <br />6.6.1 When - As !;oon after a flood alarm is tripped, and the <br />water has recededl. Remember, floods often CClme on successive <br />days! <br /> <br />6.6.2 Tasks <br /> <br />1. Clear any debris from the well. Use the clean-out <br />door ij: I1Elcessary. <br />2. Make sure that the stilling well is still securely <br />attachE!d t:o the piling. If it has moved: <br />a. SE!l~Ure gage to the piling. <br />b. Run sltation levels (see Part 6. 9) . <br />3. Repair 1m}' damage to the staff gage. <br />4. Do the I;.eutlannual test. (see Part 6. 3) <br /> <br />6.7 Long Term Mai1llt:enance <br />6.7.1 When ,. EVeJ:'Y 3 to 5 years depending upon how often it <br />floods.
