<br />- 3 - <br /> <br />~ <br />J <br />l <br /> <br />The average annual benefits accruing to land treatment for <br />flood prevention (fire protection and control) are estimated at $507, <br /> <br />The ratio of the average annual primary benefits (J48,567) to <br />the average annual cost of the structural and land treatment measures <br />for flood prevention (~33,831) is 1,44 to 1,00 (Table 8), <br /> <br />Provisions for Financing Construction <br /> <br />f <br />~ <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The sponsors will contract for the construction of the 25 <br />structural measures listed in the plan and will furnish personnel <br />and funds for administration of contracts, The Colorado State Soil <br />Conservation Board will provide administrative assistance, Easements <br />and rights-of-way will be provided by the sponsors at an estimated <br />cost of $31,599, <br /> <br />Operation and Maintenance <br /> <br />Land treatment measures will be operated and maintained by the <br />landowners or operators of farms and ranches on which the measures are <br />installed under agreeement with the Cherry Creek Soil Conservation <br />District and the Colorado State Forest Service, The structural <br />measures will be operated and maintained by the sponsors, The <br />Counties of Douglas and El Paso will budget services and funds for <br />this purpose, <br /> <br />~ <br />, <br />< <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />, , <br /> <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />~ <br />
