<br />1.6 <br /> <br />As a result of the August 20 through 23 flooding, SLA and the CWCB staff <br /> <br /> <br />were afforded an opportunity to view the flooding in Ouray. The first visit <br /> <br /> <br />occurred on August 21 in order to inspect the flooding that occurred on <br /> <br /> <br />Portland and Cascade Creeks on August 20. Another trip was taken on August 30 <br /> <br /> <br />and 31 to meet with officials of the City of Ouray, the Colorado State <br /> <br /> <br />Division of Highways, OUray County and other interested parties to discuss the <br /> <br /> <br />flooding problems and the progress of this study.
