Dobyns, <br />Dev Kernan and Paula McEntyre from the C.C.Courant. <br /> <br />MINUTES: The minutes of May 9, 1988 were approved following a motion by Joss <br />and second by Shelton. <br /> <br />BILLS: The Bills list was approved following a motion by Joss and second by <br />Shelton. Let the record reflect that P. Buckley was absent, the Board was aware <br />that the sum of $168.00 is being paid to P. Buckley for emergency repairs on the <br />water system and that it is in fact the same Patrick Buckley that serves on the <br />Board of Trustees. <br /> <br />TREASURERS REPORT: The Road and Bridge fund of the April 88 Treasurers report <br />was approved as amended following a motion by Joss and second by Heilmann. <br /> <br />,I <br /> <br />ARGENTINE CENTRAL STUDY: Mayor Dobyns reported that approximately 3D people <br />showed up fOrlilE!8h of the block meetings on the 12th and 14th of May to discuss <br />the feasibility of the Argentine Central Railroad. The committee will present <br />their final conclusion to the people of Silver Plume on June 2, at the Large <br />Town Hall at 7:00 pm. This will be the same presentation which will be presented <br />to the Clear Creek County Commissioneers on June 3rd. <br /> <br />,~ <br /> <br />,I <br />L <br /> <br />BLM: No update was given at this time. G. Regester who attended the meeting <br />of the Lands Commission Committee in Georgetown, was absent. <br /> <br />WASTEWATER COMMITTEE: G. Buckley, R. Dobyns, P. Kenney and G. Regester attended <br />the last meeting with the Georgetown committee. The billing from Georgetown <br />will be amended to include a drop in percentage rate from 13.9% to 13.3%, to <br />deduct the $10,000.00 grant from Impact Assistance off the cost of repairs <br />before finalizing the bill and to deduct the depreciation (pending advise of the <br />Georgetown attorney) of the 91ant. The Board decided that an audit should be <br />conducted. The clerk will contact Robert Ridle for a estimate. Mayor Dobyns <br />will speak with Barbara Greene later this week on advise of how to proceed concerning <br />future negotiations. A payment of $3,000.00 will be sent to Georgetown, this <br />passed following a motion by Joss and second by Shelton. A letter will be sent <br />along with payment outlining Silver Plume's plans to have R. Dobyns check into <br />fixing the existing meter. The Board rejected plans to buy and install a new <br />meter as requested by Georgetown's Board of Selectment. <br /> <br />CULP WATER AGREEMENT: Paragraph 3, "USE OF WATER" was amended to include "unless <br />sewer is made available" inserted after tiolet purposes. The line "or for any <br />purposes not speci fically noted in this agreement" was deleted. The line "Any <br />other uses must be approved in advance" was changed to "Any commercial use, (that <br />which is charged for) must be approved in advance, in writing by the Board of <br />Trustees of the Town of Silver Plume." <br />
