The dam itself is low cost. <br />boating facilities have been constructed. <br /> <br />No <br /> <br />4. Appearance. The dam is unsightly due to its linear configuration <br />across the river, and the rubble and concrete chunks stacked in <br />the river. Especially ugly when trash and debris has been trapped <br />against the rubble. <br /> <br />5. Operation and Maintenance. Debris is always trapped against the <br />rock rubble, requiring periodic cleaning. The ungrouted rock is <br />gradually washed downstream by the river action. <br /> <br />6, Stability. The concrete wall is stable, but the rock rubble is <br />not. the water shifts it around during high flow requulng peri- <br />odic maintenance. The rock is not large enough and not grouted to <br />be adequately stable. <br /> <br />Other <br /> <br />Fish migration is difficult, but possible. <br />No portage trails, landings or signage, <br />A drop-pool sequence with deflector is needed. <br />
