As a result of <br />the runoff generated in Schaefer Draw, and one of its unnamed adjacent tributaries, a breach <br />occurred to the Weldon Valley Ditch and Riverside Irrigation Canal that transect the watershed, <br />The flooding experienced in Weldona on July 30 was the most significant event in Morgan <br />County during the 1997 flood season, The majority of the flood documentation for Morgan <br />County summarizes this event.
