<br />Whereas. Camp Dresser & McKee. Inc.. under contract to the <br />Federal Emergency Management Agency. prepared a report entitled <br />"Flood Insu~ance Study. City of Fountain~ El Paso County. <br />Colorado." dated January 3. 1985; and <br /> <br />Whereaw. the Colorado Water Conservation Board. as <br />requested by the City of Fountain. approved and designated said <br />report by Resolution No. 238 on May 3. 1985; and <br /> <br />Whereas. the Flood Insurance Study for unincorporated El <br />Paso County describes and outlines the floodplain data and <br />information for the storm and floodwater runoff channels or <br />basins listed in Table 2. attached hereto and by this reference <br />incorporated herein. in a manner that is consistent with the <br />portions of the previously designated reports listed in Table <br />2; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. new hydrologic. topographic and hydraulic <br />information and data have been developed by the Federal <br />Emergency Management Agency for certain stream reaches listed <br />in Table 3. attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br />herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. said new information and data replaced information <br />and data contained in the previously designated and approved <br />reports listed in Table 3: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. <br />42. 91. and <br />Table 3 need <br /> <br />those portions of Resolution Nos. 16. 27. 30. 36. <br />101 pertaining to the stream reaches li.sted in <br />to be rescinded; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. said Flood Insurance Study .for unincorporated El <br />Paso County describes and outlines the floodplain data and <br />information for certain storm and floodwater runoff channels or <br />basins liste~ in Table 4. attached hereto and by this reference <br />incorporated herein: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the floodplain data and information for that reach <br />of Sand Creek from Woodmen Road upstream to a point <br />approximately 2500 feet upstream of the section line between <br />section 33. T12S. R65W. and Section 4. T13S. R65W. and that <br />reach of Sand Creek East Fork from its confluence with Sand <br />Creek East Fork Subtributary upstream to a point approximately <br />800. feet upstream of the section line between Sections 14 and <br />23. T13S. R65W. :previously approved and designated by. the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board by Resolution No. 27 on <br />October 31. 1973. as detailed floodplain information. have been <br />converted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in said <br />Flood Insurance Study to floodplain delineations by approximate <br />methods; and <br /> <br />-4- <br />
