Coip~ of Engineers, Omaha District, completed in April 1964, Flood Pl~in'Information Report, Volume II, Summary Report and Technical Appendix, Sand, Toll Gate and Lower Cherry Creeks; and WHEREAS, the Colorado W~ter Conservation Board by res- olution adopted December 13, -1967. approved and designated the flood. runoff channels presented in said Volume II; and WHEREAS, the Denver Regional Council of Governments requested the U. S. corps of Engineers, Omaha Distr.ict, to revise . the April 1964, Flood Plain Information Report, Volume II, Summary Report and Technical Appendix, Sand, Toll Gate and Lower. Cherry Creeks, due to roads constructed within the flood plains having changed the hydraulic characteristics in the channels and because . of hydrologic information obtained during the floods in 1965 in Colorado which indicated that the design floods ~hould be mate- rially increased; and ; r ! WHEREAS, the U. S.
