No hail. <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Ouderkirk, farmer, <br />comments that the rain <br />started at 6:00 p.m. and <br />was exceptionally heavy, <br />was preceded by low <br />rumbling thunder. Wind <br />first came from E and <br />then coone back very <br />strong from NW. Some <br />hail. <br /> <br />Mr. stone, rancher, says <br />that rain started about <br />5:00 p,m, on the 17th <br />and continued for about <br />two hours. Cloud came <br />from E at the beginning. <br />No hail, some lightning. <br /> <br />Editor of newspaper at <br />Mitchell says storm was <br />not unusually violent <br />and that 0.75 inch fell <br />between 6:00 p.m. and <br />7:30 p,m. on 17th, the <br />remainder during the <br />night and morning. <br />
