<br />B. Planning and Engineering - non-federal interests are required to <br />pay 50~ of the cost of planning and engineering. <br /> <br />C, Design - design costs shall be cost shared in the same percentage as <br />the project purpose. <br /> <br />Section 106. Rate of Interest <br /> <br />Provides for the Secretary of the Treasury to determine the interest rate <br />at which non-federal interests shall repay their project contribution based on <br />average market yields on outstanding obligations plus a premium of one-eighth <br />of one percent. <br /> <br />Section 107. Limitation on Applicability of Certain Provisions in Reports <br /> <br />Provisions in reports recommending a state contribution of 5 percent cash <br />for non-vendible project purposes and 10 percent cash for vendible project <br />purposes shall not apply, <br /> <br />Section 108. General Applicability <br /> <br />Cost sharing provisions, unless otherwise specified, shall apply to all <br />projects in this Act. <br /> <br />Section 109. Definitions <br /> <br />: <br /> <br />TITLE II - HARBOR DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />Section 201. Deep-Draft Harbor Projects (authorized to be constructed to a <br />depth of more than 45 feet) <br /> <br />A. Authorizes construction of the following projects: <br /> <br />1. Mobile Harbor, AL <br />2. Mississippi River Ship Channel, Gulf to Baton Rouge, LA <br />3. Texas City Channel,. TX <br />4. Norfolk Harbor and Channels, VA <br /> <br />B. Authorizes construction of the following projects subject to'a <br />favorable Chief's report and approval by the Secretary: <br /> <br />1. Los Angeles and Long Beach Harbors, San Pedro Bay, CA <br />2. New York Harbor and Adjacent Channels, NY and NJ <br /> <br />5 <br />
