Study of Hydropower Status <br /> <br />Authorizes preparation of a report on the status of feasibility and <br />reconnaissance studies relating to the hydroelectric power potential of <br />existing Corps projects in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa, <br />Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. <br /> <br />Section 724. Canadian Tidal Power Study <br /> <br />Authorizes the Secretary, in consultation with NOAA, NMFS, U.S. Fish and <br />Wildlife Service, other governmental agencies, and the National Academy of <br />Sciences, to undertake studies to identify the impacts on the U.S. of potential <br />Canadian tidal power development on the Bay of Fundy. <br /> <br />Section 725. Red River Basin Hydroelectric Power Studies <br /> <br />Directs the Secretary to expedite the hydroelectric power studies of the <br />Red River Basin Comprehensive Study; with a view of investigating the <br />feasibility of adding hydroelectric generating facilities at Tuskahoma Lake, <br />Ok1 ahoma. <br /> <br />20 <br />
