<br />Section 704. Study of Corps Capability to Conserve Fish and Wildlife <br /> <br />A. Authorizes investigation and study of the feasibility of utilizing the <br />capabilities of the Corps to conserve indigenous fish and wildlife and <br />their habitats. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Authorizes projects of <br />for fish and wildlife. <br />25'. <br /> <br />alternative or beneficially modified habitats <br />The non-Federal share of any project will be <br /> <br />Section 705. San Francisco Bay Area Flood Control Study <br /> <br />Authorizes a study of flood problems in Napa County, CA. <br /> <br />Section 706. Great Lakes Levels Study <br /> <br />Authorizes the Secretary, in cooperation with NOAA, FEMA, the IJC and <br />others to conduct a study of shoreline protection and beach erosion control <br />policy-in view of the current and expected increases in Great Lakes levels, <br /> <br />Section 707. <br /> <br />Capital Investment Needs for Water Resources <br /> <br />Within two <br />the long-range <br />jurisdiction. <br /> <br />years of enactment, the Secretary is to submit an estimate of <br />capital investment needs for water resources programs under his <br /> <br />Section 708. <br /> <br />New York Harbor and Adjacent Channel Study <br /> <br />Directs Secretary to expedite completion of the study of New York Harbor <br />and Adjacent Channels and to submit study results to Congress no later than <br />December 31, 1987. <br /> <br />Section 709. Dioxin Contamination in Passaic River - Newark Bay <br /> <br />Authorizes EPA to study and monitor the environmental effects of dioxin <br />contamination in the Passaic River-Newark Bay navigation system. <br /> <br />Section 710. Deauthorization of Studies <br /> <br />Directs the Secretary within one year of enactment to submit to Congress a <br />list of incomplete water resources studies which have been authorized and for <br />which no funds have been appropriated during the preceeding five years. This <br />report must be submitted annually, thereafter. <br /> <br />Section 711. Saginaw Bay, Michigan <br /> <br />Authorizes a feasibility study of navigation improvements at Saginaw Bay <br />and Saginaw River. - <br /> <br />18 <br />
