The meeting was held to present the study to <br />the local community officials and to solicit their comments. A <br />list of those in attendance has been attached. <br /> <br />Various items were discussed as to the content of the study, both <br />of an editorial and technical nature. Items of concern included: <br /> <br />(i) Inclusion of Briargate annexation in the northern <br />portions of Colorado Springs, and other changes <br />in corporate limits. <br /> <br />( ii) <br /> <br />Peterson Field flood plain <br />to include recent drainage <br /> <br />Extension of <br />del i neation <br />modifications. <br /> <br />(ii i) Work maps showi ng deta i1 ed topography, flood <br />plain boundaries and channel cross-section <br />1 ocati ons. <br /> <br />(iv) Development along Monument Creek, between <br />Pikeview and Woodmore Road (Corporate Centre). <br /> <br />(v) Review period. <br /> <br />The Briargate annexation will most likely be finalized before the <br />scheduling of the final cOlTJ11unity meeting, and therefore should <br />be incl uded in the flood insurance study for Colorado Springs. <br />This annexation will result in the inclusion of some reaches of <br /> <br />
