<br />or along any storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after designation and A <br />approval by the Colorado Water Conservation Board; and .. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Cripple Creek officials have stated that they will regulate <br />the approximate storm and floodwater runoff channels on a case-by case basis according to <br />1988-1: Flood Damage Prevention OrdinaIlce, City of Cripple Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37 -60-106( 1)( c), Colorado Revised Statutes, directs the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board to designate and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels <br />or basins and to make such designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the said new report meets all of the requirements as approximate <br />floodplain information under the Board's "Rules and Regulations for the Designation and <br />Approval of Floodplains and of Storm or Floodwater Runoff Channels in Colorado" (2 CCR <br />408-Rule 6); aIld <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board in regular meeting assembled in Cortez, Colorado, this 10th day of July, 1992, that <br />it does hereby designate and approve as stonn or floodwater runoff channels or basins those <br />approximate areas as delineated on the approximate floodplain maps prepared by the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board and adopted by the City of Cripple Creek as part of <br />the Drainage Master Plan dated April 1992, for corporate areas of Cripple Creek, Colorado, A. <br />contingent upon the understanding that Cripple Creek will regulate the storm and .. <br />floodwater runoff channels on a case-by-case basis in accordance with 1988-1: Flood <br />Damage Prevention Ordinance, City of Cripple Creek; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is directed to send <br />a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of County Commissioners of Teller County; <br />the City of Cripple Creek, Colorado; the Colorado Office of Emergency Management; and <br />the Federal Emergency Management Agency. <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by a <br />majority vote of the members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session <br />assembled at Cortez, Colorado, on the 10th day of July, 1992, at which a quorum was <br />present. <br /> <br />~ am ikwfVI/L <br /> <br />Sara Duncan, Secretary <br /> <br />bj6S7.32S <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />. <br />
