Ltd.

Drainage outfall system plan to relieve flooding and provide
storm drainage outfalls. Work included hydrologic modeling,
alternative analysis, cost estimating, and preliminary design of
recommended alternatives. The proposed plan recommended
two storm drainage o11tfalls to the South Platte River in
addilion to one existing ;,tonn sewer outfall. The outfalls
consisted chiefly of storm sewers, some open channels, drop
structures, and two detention ponds. One of the detention
ponds was designed as part of a multi-use park.

Design of two culvert crossings for proposed subdivision
improvements. Work included grouted boulder stilling basins
for energy dissipation.

Design of three aesthetic detention ponds for proposed
subdivision improvements.

Preparation of final drainage plan for Arapahoe County
Community Park, components of which included stormwater
runoff analysis, water quality wet pond, storm sewers and
inlets. drainage swales, and coordination with park amenities,
i.e., softball and soccer fields, concession stand, a multi-
purpose building, parking lots, and trail system.

Design of rehabilitation improvements to increase storage
volume and improve ov<:rland drainage. Improvements
included regrading, low. flow channels, storm sewer outlet
energy dissipators, inlets, and outlet structures.

Storm drainage outfall planning for the Lee Gulch basin
upstream of Elati Street, about 1,020 acres, to relieve channel
degradation and erosion at stann sewer outfalls. Planning
recommended three grouted riprap drop structures and a check
structure, rehabilitation of four check structures, relocation of
the low-flow channel in three locations, stabilization of two
vertical bank cuts, erosion protection at several storm sewer
outfalls, and a maintenance/pedesllian trail along Lee Gulch.
Detention pond alternatives to reduce the 2~year flow were
investigated.

Preliminary design of a detention facility along West Toll
Gate Creek. Design components included a drop structure,
outlet weir structure and culvert, erosion protection
downstream of storm sewer olltfalls and outlet culvert, rock-
lined low-flow channels. utility relocations,
maintenance/pedestrian path, and grading for two athletic
fields.

Conceptual drainage planning for Saddle Rock Ranches
subdivision; included were detention facilities, storm water
runoff routing, floodplain delineation, drainage swales, and
storm sewers.
