Preparation of a Master Drainage Plan to provide storm watcr
detention for a partially -developed office park. The detcntion
was. provided by modifying two existing acsthetic ponds. This
work also included the hydraulic analysis and sizing of the
outlet structures for both ponds dUling final design.

Evaluation of drainage problems at an existing Walgreens site,
including a detention pond with poor drainage. eroding
hillsides, and a storm sewer system with inadequate capacity.

Preliminary and final design of slorm sewers to improve the
drainage of an existing neighborhood in Boulder, including
three storm sewer outfa]Is to a canal ranging from 21" to 36"
RCP, various types of inlets, a culvert, and parking lot
improvements.

To n~move existing houses from the Hy]ands Creek
floodplain, a hydrology verification sludy and floodplain
analysis were perfomled for preparation of a LaMA for
submittal to FEMA.

Preparalion of an appliciltion to obtain an Individual 404
Pemlit for the twenty-tv..o drainage, roadway, and
development projects proposed for the Rock Creek
development. The application included alternatives, a
mitigation schedule, and maintenance plan.

Design of stream stabilization measures along 2,000 L.F. of
Rock Creek, including fi.ve grouted boulder check structures,
two low-flow crossings, and buried riprap bank stabilization at
selected locations, with existing Sleep and eroding banks.

Design of a 2.5 AF detention pond including water quality
storage and outlet stnlcture, permanent pool, 17-f1. high
grouted boulder drop structure, rock-lined tributary channel,
littoral zone with wetlands plantings, 66-inch RCP pond outlet
structure and pipe, erosion protection for two stoml sewer
outfalls, and grave] maintenance path.

Preliminary design of Rock Creek Tributary RB-3 stream
stabilization measures, improved grass-lined channels and
wetlands channels, Hillside Storage Facility (14.5 AF) and
School Site Storage Facility (8.3 AF). The storage facilities
include 24-ft to 26~ft high grouted boulder drop structures,
trickle channels, numerous storm sewer olltfalls, gravel
maintenance paths, and native grass seeding.

Preliminary design of Rock Creek stream st.'lbiliwtion
measures, Indiana Street culvert crossing (double ]6' by 8'
RCS), Coalton Road culvert crossing (triple 17' by 7' RCB),
and Coalton Storage Facility (2.5 AF detention pond including
water quality storage and outlet StlUctllrc, pcnIlanent pool, 17 '
high grouted boulder drop structure, rock-lined tributary
channel, littoral zone Wil:h wetlands plantings, 66" RCP pond
outlet stmcture and pipe, and grave] maintenance path).
