The Boulder Creek Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) provided advice on
local and environmental issues affecting the proposed excavated floodway.

analysis of the impacts of sediment and debris between the canyon mouth

and l7th Street under existing conditions and for the proposed floodway;

and for their recommendations on bridge design, rearmoring of the

channel after construction to prevent scour, freeboard, and measures to

limit debris.

Wright-McLaughlin Engineers provided technical advice and guidance to

the CAC during the course of this study.

Figures V-I through v-4 were prepared by Bill OeOreo; util ity engineer
for the City of Boulder.

Typical details of simulated rock walls were provided by Cost, Inc. of
Rockfield, Wisconsin.

Various agencies including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Federal

Insurance Administration, Colorado Department of Highways and the
Boulder Valley School District were contacted during this investigation.

Information provided by these agencies has been incorporated into the

study.
