Materials targeted jiH stripping <br />include: hardwood floors; cabinets; plumbing and <br />electrical fixtures; appliances; doors; lvindows; <br />nwnte/pieces: basins; vanities; and architectural items. <br /> <br /> <br />Advantages <br />. Reduction in volume of materials landfilled <br />. Salvaged materials can be used to support <br />housing and community development projects <br />. Save landfill costs <br /> <br />Disadvantages <br />. Demolition and landfilling of waste is still <br />oLcessary <br />. Local non-profit organizations may not have <br />the capacity to strip-out materials <br />. Limited demand for salvaged materials <br />.
