<br />Study to be Desil!nated <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency MaJlagement Agency prepared a report entitled <br />"Flood Insurance Study, City of Fort Collins, Colorado, Larimer County" revised February 15, <br />1984; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report provides detailed floodplain infonnation for the following streams: <br /> <br />the Cache la Poudre River <br />Spring Creek <br /> <br />Dry Creek <br /> <br />; and <br /> <br />Consistency with Previous Floodplain Studies <br />WHEREAS, the detailed floodplain inforrPation contained in said report revised February 15, <br />1984, for the Cache la Poudre River, is consistent with Resolution No. 29 and Resolution No. 139; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the detailed floodplain inforrPation contained in said report revised February 15, <br />1984, for Dry Creek, is inconsistent with Resolution No. 139; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the detailed floodplain inforrPation contained in said report revised February 15, <br />1984, for Dry Creek, replaced the previous hydraulic analysis contained in Resolution No. 139 with the <br />more current :md detailed hydraulic analysis contained in Resolution No. 203 :md is consistent with <br />Resolution No. 203; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the detailed floodplain inforrPation contained in said report revised February 15, <br />1984, for Spring Creek, is consistent with Resolution No. 139 and Resolution No. 204 and inconsistent <br />with Resolution No. 305; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the detailed floodplain inforrPation contained in said report revised February 15, <br />1984, for all streams within the City ofFort Collins, has been superseded by the Flood Insurance Study <br />revised March 18, 1996, which was designated by Resolution No.4 30; and <br /> <br />Local Request for Designation <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins has requested the Colorado Water Conservation Board to <br />designate and approve the detailed floodplain information contained in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins has !lot requested that the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board rescind any previous designations within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there was a need to have accurate floodplain infonnation to guide land use and <br />permitting decisions in the City of Fort Collins during the period from February 15, 1984 until March <br />18, 1996; and <br /> <br />2 <br />
