PURPOSE OF PROGRAM
This program will compute a unit braph, standard project rain amounts, probable
maximum precipitation amounts, rain excess, and flood runoff for any number of
basins and any number of storms for each basin.
B. PROGRAM SPECIPICATIONS
Program is dimensioned for 100 unit hydrograph ordinates or 21 time-area
ordinates. The. maximum number of rainfall and streamflow ordinates is 120
each.
c. MET HODS
Criteria from EB 52-8 is used to compute standard project rain amounts a'ld HMS
33 for probable maximum precipitation amounts. If the unit hydrograph is com-
puted, the instantaneous unit hydrograph method is used and Snyder coefficients
are approximated. Loss rates are computed using either an initial and uniform
loss rate for a variable loss rate function.
D. EQUIPMENT DET AIL.S
The program requires a FORTRAN II compiler andrequires 8640 words of core
storage.
E. INPUT - OUTPUT
Card input and printer output. Hag Tape or card out put optional.
F. ADDITIONAL REMARKS
This program has been combined with a number of smaller programs to make a
package for more efficient use, maximum flexibility and ease of operational
eontrol. See program abstract for program no. 723-X6-L2l00 for further detaile .

ENG FORM
1 AUG 60

2883

(BII 11'10-1.1110)

PREVIOUS EDITIONS ARE OBSOLETE.

3
