Eichert February 1966 PHASE ISTAGE
Init. lop.
~ PURPOSE OF PRoqRAM
'l'h1.s progr8lll w~ll compute the gate regulation schedule curves for a reservoir
utilizing the area capacity curves, the induced surcharge envelope curve,
and a constant Ts which represents the slope of the recession leg of an inflow
hydrograph. These curves are used to operate a gated snillwlW while the
reservoir pool is rising under emergency conditions when communications have
failed and in determining dam height for design purposes.

B. PROGRAM SPECIP'ICATIONS
FORrRAN II.

c. MET HODS
The method of computation is based on EM lllO-2-36oo.
"Reservoir Regulation"

D. EQUIPMENT DET "IL.S
Available for computers with at least 8 K Memory on GE 225 or for IBM 1620

M'ith l:-OK. The object program requires 12,600 ',!ords of memory on the CDC

6600.

E. INPUT-OUTPUT
Card input and printer output. The input required are area-capacity cur;~s,
induced surcheJ';~~e envelope curve, ana. e. teble of inflOtIs and Qut::'lOliis. The
printed output is a ta~ole of reservotr elevations correspondtn~ to the
ini'lows and outflry:1S given for the sc..te regulation curve.

F.
