I

I

I

SECTION A - INTRODUCTION

I

I

This proposal is submitted to the Colorado Water Conservation Board
,

Boulder County, Weld County, and the Town of Erie in response to the invita-

tion of the State of Colorado GB-RFP-20 dated July 19, 1979.

I

I

The proposed services, as outlined in greater detail in Section B - Work
Program, will be provided by WRC subject to the study budget of $18,000 to
$20,000 as presented in the RFP.

I

Our projected work load and qualified staff availability for the next six

months should permit a timely completion of the proposed services. The proposed

time of four months to complete the study tasks is reasonable and adequate.

I

I

WRC was incorporated in the State of Colorado in 1976 for the purpose of

providing specialized consulting engineering services in various water resources

engineering disciplines. WRC's specific experience and present capabilities in

storm runoff management encompass planning, design, preparation of bid documents

and construction supervision. We have served a number of clients from both

the public and private sectors. In a number of these projects, the drainage

problems addressed are similar to those to be found in the proposed study area.

I

I

The staff members of WRC have the necessary ,educational and practical

experience to finish the project to the complete satisfaction of our client.

They are trained to maintain a close working relationship with the client through-

out the duration of the project.

I

I

WRC intends to coordinate its services closely with the client's personnel

assigned to this project. From our past experience, we have found that such

a coordination results in eliminating a variety of problems thus resulting in

a timely completion and cost effective results.

I

I

The details of the proposal are presented on the following pages.

I

I

I

-1-
