<br />No. 57 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />102 Columbine Building <br />1845 Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />Narch 17, 1976 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Wright-McLaughlin Engineers under date of June, 1975 <br />issued a floodplain information report under the title of "Lena Gulch <br />Haster Drainage Plan," Volumes One and Two; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, under date of July 9, 1975, the Colorado Water Con- <br />servation Board by resolution designated and approved as flood hazard <br />areas those areas which would be inundated by an intermediate regional <br />(IOO-year) flood as set forth in said Wright-McLaughlin report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has subsequently been determined that a portion <br />of the floodplain set forth in said report is incorrectly described; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a revision has been made on sheet 8 of Volume Two <br />of said report to the 100-year floodwater surface elevation by Wright- <br />McLaughlin Engineers, under date of February 23, 1976 which revision <br />takes into consideration corrected topography for the channel and <br />floodplain of certain portions of Lena Gulch; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District has <br />requested the Colorado Water Conservation Board to revise the flood <br />hazard designation made by the Board under date of July 9, 1975, in <br />accordance with the aforesaid revision; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has. reviewed the revised <br />floodplain information, has consulted with Wright-McLaughlin Engineers <br />and the Urban Drainage and Flood Co~trol District, and concurs with <br />the revised floodplain information and does hereby recommend to the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board that said Board approve the aforesaid <br />revision of the floodplain information heretofore made on Lena Gulch; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conser- <br />vation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, this <br />17th day of March, 1976, that it does hereby rescind and revise that <br />portion of the resolution adopted on July 9, 1975, describing a certain <br />floodplain along Lena Gulch in Jefferson County, insofar as such <br />resolution pertains to that portion of Lena Gulch in the vicinity of <br />Taft Street and West 34th Place extending from Station 92 + 00 to <br />98 + 50 Station of the plan and profile as shown on sheet 8 of Volume <br />Two of said report; and does adopt in lieu thereof within the described <br />reach the floodplain described on the revised sheet 8 dated February 23, <br />1976 of the (.,'right-t'lcLaughlin Engineers' report as being inundated by <br />an intermediate regional (lOO-year) flood; and <br /> <br />. <br />
