The fill
~
is located slong the inside of a ehannel bend where the erosive foree
of the water is minimized. It is anticipated that the river may
deposit additional sediment along the property boundary as the
erosion continues along the opposite side of the river.

The Corps of Engineers ehannel improvement project is expected
to commence construction within one to two years. Any additional
revetment beyond seeding would be wasted when the channel improvements
are made. ~

The proposal limits of the fill are shown on Plate-I. Typical
cross sections showing the existing and proposed ground elevations
are also included in the appendix.

-10-
