PLACEMENT OF FILL MATERIAL <br /> <br />It is anticipated that all fill placement and erosion protection <br />will be completed using tbe Colorado Department of Higbways Standard <br />Specifications (Reference 3) as a guide. Tbe specific sections of <br />tbe bigbway specifications wbicb will be applicable to tbe proposed <br />fill construction are summarized a8 follows: <br /> <br />1. Clearing and Grubbing (Section 201) <br /> <br />2. Embankment Construction (Section 203.10) <br /> <br />3. Seeding (Section 212.05) <br /> <br />To prevent soil erosion a minimum slope of 3:1 will be used at <br />tbe edges of the fill. Seeding of tbe slopes and any other potentially <br />erodible areas will be accomplisbed as soon as practical after the <br /> <br />fill is placed. <br /> <br />-9- <br />
