<br />Table 1 <br /> <br />"Detailed Information Which Revises Detailed In((Jrmation PTeviouslv PreDaTed For Parker, <br />Colorado and Designated Bv Re.nlution Nos. 68. 164 & 288 <br /> <br />Cherry Creek from tbe ArJlpaboclDouglas County line to. point approximately 2,100 feet above the Stroh Avenue' bridge <br />Tallman Gulch from its cooDuence witb Tallman Gulcb Tributary to alK"ot approximately 2,800 feet upstream <br />Sulpbur Gulch from Pikts Peak Road to. poiot .pproximately 1,200 feet downstram <br />Newlin Guleb (rom its cooducncc with Cbury Crttk to approximately 2,150 feet upstream of Jordan Road <br />Jordan Road Tributary from its coaRUcDct with Newlin Gulch to approximately 700 fed upstream ofStoocgate Part"...y <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Town of Parker, Colorado has requested the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board to designate and approve the detailed and approximate floodplain <br />infonnation set forth in Table I; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), CoIOlado Revised Statutes, requires the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board to assist in the prevention of floods and flood damages therefrom; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sections 31-23-301 and 30-28-111, Colorado Revised Statutes, provide <br />that legislative bodies of local jurisdictions may provide zoning regulations for land uses on or <br />along any storm or floodwater runoff channel or b.1Sin only after designation and approval by <br />the Colorado Water Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, directs the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board to designate and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or <br />basins and to make such designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the information in said new report for the stream reaches listed in Table 1, <br />meets all of the requirements for detailed infOrmlltion listed under the Board's "RuIes and <br />Regulations for the Designation and Approval of Floodplains and of Storm or Floodwater <br />Runoff Channels in Colorado" (2 CCR 408-1); and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOi-VED by the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board in regular meeting assembled in G1enwood springs, Colorado, this 8th day of July, 1996, <br />that it does hereby designate and approve as detailed floodplain infonnation the 100-year <br />floodplains as deseribed by the floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said new report, <br />dated January 5, 1996 for the study reaches listed in Table 1 except Jordan Road Tributary and <br />does hereby reseind all the portions of same said stream reaehes in Resolution Nos. 68, 164, <br />288, and 290; and <br /> <br />3 <br />
