(Acceptance of Flood Hazard Area Delineation Report
for Several Drainageways in the Westminster Area)

WHEREAS, the Board has previously established a Work Program for 19B3

(Resolution No. 49, Series of 1982) which included the delineation of flood

hazard areas; and

WHEREAS, the Board has previously authorized the Executive Oirector to

execute an agreement with a qualified engineering consultant for the completion

of a flood hazard area delineation study for several drainaQeways in the

Westminster area (Resolution No. 65, Series of 1983, Resolution No. 28, Series

of 1984, Resolution No. 27, Series of 1985 and Resolution N~. 8. Series of

1986); and

WHEREAS, the Board has previously indicated its desire that the results of

such studies b~ provided to the local governments so as to ~ssist such local

governments in meeting the requirements of HB 1041; and

WHEREAS. the Executive Director has executed an agreem~nt with Greiner

Engineering Services, Inc. for a fload hazard area delineation study of several

drainageways in the Westminster area; and

WHEREAS, a report "Flood Hazard Area Del ineation, WestJninster Areal! dated

November, 1986 has been completed by Greiner Engineering Services, Inc. which.

includes flood hazard area delineation of the following drainageways:

Big Dry Creek,

Tanglewood Creek,

North Cotton Creek,

Middle Cotton Creek,
South Cotton Creek,

Airport Creek,
North Branch Airport Creek,

North City Park Creek,

South City Park Creek,

South Branch Hylands Creek,

Middle Branch Hylands Creek,

North Branch Hylands Creek,

Walnut Creek,
